Did you guys know that? It came up in one of my Misha Collins meet & greets. He wrote a season five episode himself and submitted it to be made into an episode…. though it got rejected. I never remembered if I shared what the plot was with tumblr, so here goes:
There’s this out of the ways town somewhere in America, where people are doing pretty horrible stuff. Like, Supernatural, book of Revelations horrible stuff. And of course Sam and Dean turn up to try and figure out what’s going on, why people are killing each other and whatnot. I forget the gory details but I remember that they were pretty juicy. Definitely something I would have wanted to see. Anyways, they finally figure out it’s a guy with a radio station sort of like NPR but more mind control. The guy is acting out stuff in accordance with the apocalypse through subliminal messages, subverting the entire area - and that’s not even the worst part. The local radio man is about to go national.
Misha explained how he got this character right out of the bible itself, and did all his research and was really intent on it. It’s too bad it got rejected, because I would have loved the episode.
way to drop the ball, writing team.
#Episode 1.17 of Swords & Sigils
Whoa I I would have loved to see this, and not just because Misha Collins, because it actually sounds really really...
Ugh. Not cool. Why is that not an episode? It would have been great. It could actually still work for s7.
