You know what? I want to win this poll more than ever now. Not just because Dean and Cas’ relationship is genuinely beautiful and tragic and inspiring all at the same time. Not just because Misha is in full support of the poll.

I want to win it to show every asshole that thinks this is the way to deal with a ship that they don’t like being popular that they’re a fucking asshole. I want to win it and hope that Jensen and Misha both send in statements thanking the fans for their devotion. I want to win to prove, yet again, that Cas fans are loud and devoted and deserve to be heard. I want to win it to rub it in their goddamn faces that saying Dean might possibly love somebody without breasts and a vagina is not in any way “disrespecting Jensen”, when the show itself is constantly making little references and gay jokes about Dean, and Jensen (who i might add is not Dean and not actually in any way related to this discussion) is the guy who spanked Misha on the S6 gag reel, made a joke about the “gay angel” on the S4 gag reel, groped Misha’s leg at a con unprovoked, and happily did that When Harry Met Sally scene with him on-stage. 

Jensen’s not a homophobe. The guy tweeting about “respecting” the guy by not horror of horrors saying his character might have a loving relationship with another dude, however? Fucking is. So let’s win this poll. If not because Destiel deserves the win, which it does, then because it’ll stop us getting arrested for assault for punching every douchebag in this fandom in the face.
