I don’t hate Voice of The Turtledove, I’m just incredibly frustrated by it. But I’m only on page 34/100 and I think Cas’ childhood is supposed to make you as angry as it made me. Cause it’s wrong, but it does happen. And I love the way it’s written, but I hate homophobic!Jimmy and I just want Cas to be happy. 

So I don’t hate Voice of The Turtledove, I just find myself being led along and getting angry in all the right places.
