Why do they all keep calling him Padre? Does that normally happen in Catholic churches? Cause it’s really annoying me.

“Padre” means father in Spanish. Catholic priests are referred to as Father. For example mine is Father Ramone.

Reading Supernatural fic? Dean usually calls the priests Padre when he’s in a church.

I know that, but EVERYONE is calling Cas Padre, even Mary. 

It’s weirding me out a little.
